SDC Construction has Project Experience on Engineering Consulting. The Following are projects that we took part as Engineering Consultants:

• DFW International Airport Automated Parking System (APS). Design/Build. Construction Management, Inspection, Constructibility Reviews of Automated System, Phase 2. Provided Review and Appraise Design Deliverables, specifically, 50% and final PS&E documents. Also, provided planning input regarding in-lane construction work and construction administration, by provision of a construction inspector.
  
  
• Cedar Hill Independent School District Site Design, Cedar Hill, Texas. Ninth Grade Transitional School – provided planning assistance, coordination, and site engineering design for this 100-acre school. The design included paving, drainage grading, water and sewer, segmental concrete retaining walls, 10 sports fields/courts. Extensive internal traffic circulation pavement with public and private drainage systems, fire lane and bus route, over 1,400 parking spaces, 3,700 l.f. of off-site water and sanitary sewer utilities, high embankments, and a detention pond.
  Plummer Elementary Expansion – design and site work on 28 acres included 1,300 l.f. of concrete paved access route, 2,100 l.f. of water line, 500 l.f. of sewer line, grading and drainage. New middle school at Pleasant Run – services included planning assistance, coordination, and site engineering design for 24-acre school site. Included design for paving, drainage grading, water and sewer, segmental and RC concrete retaining walls, football field, and tennis court. Responsible for fire lane and bus route, parking lot, high embankments, detention pond, and contract/construction administration.
  
  5 MG Clearwell High Service Filter Backwash Pump Station, City of Beaumont. To build a five million gallon underground water tank, with a electrical pump system to serve the rapid growing residential and businesses community in the City of Beaumont. SDC insured and managed the work done by the Contractor to build the water facility of the City of Beaumont. Also assist work on the QC and QA of the material.
  
  
• Preston/Royal intersection improvement – Dallas, TX
  Provided design for the reconstruction and improvement of the 1 mile section of existing roadway/intersection, including submittal of final plans for traffic signal and small signs. Developed construction sequence including work zone traffic control, signing and pavement marking. Prepared a complete biddable set of construction and quantity estimate. Estimated project cost: $1 M
  
  
  
• Overflow parking lot project – Plano, TX
  The design of the 500 spaces concrete reinforced overflow parking lot included all grading, paving, drainage, water and sanitary sewer elements inside the work area. Designed RCP and 4’ X 4’ concrete box inlet, 8” and 6” water mains with appurtenances, concrete entrance roads and 8” Sanitary Sewer mains with appurtenances. Developed construction sequence including work zone traffic control, signing and pavement marking. Prepared a complete biddable set of construction and quantity estimate. Planning Services

• Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Northwest Corridor – MIS. Provided historic and current land use, population, employment, and economic development data analysis. Provided travel characteristics, i.e., traffic counts, accident statistics, transit service levels, traffic service levels, transit times, ridership, and base year and future year forecast using updated traffic analysis zone system. Provided relocation studies and inventory analysis along proposed alignments of the project.
  
  
• Dallas Housing Authority (Site Development Plan). Replat 24 acres of land with 150 quadplex and duplex units to include soil investigation and topographic surveys; design of streets, sidewalk and infrastructure design layouts; utility, irrigation, and landscaping plans.
  
  
• Analysis of Economic Impacts on Aviation in North Central Texas Council of Governments. Performed airport/passenger surveys for 23 airports in North Central Texas in order to quantitatively estimate annual and projected economic impacts and benefits, and total number of jobs directly or indirectly created by airports in the region.
  
  
• Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Bus Transit Center Program Plan. Analyzed current and future travel schedules, policy issues, and existing/proposed bus transit center facilities to develop the bus transit center program plan.
  
  
• Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Options Analysis – Integrated Bus/Rail System Redesign. Developed and designed the integrated bus and fixed-guideway system plan.
  
  
• Columbia Area Transit System, Privatization Alternatives Study. Performed a ridership and user survey of this transit system for use in examining service and privatization alternatives.
  
  
• Dallas Area Rapid Transit, South Oak Cliff Corridor Refinement Study. Developed the alternative rail alignment analysis.
